An item reported that larger accommodation for crews of ships undergoing repairs on the Dutch naval establishment at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies was needed, especially while also the personnel strength of the torpedo service was increased. An already existing house on the establishment was for this purpose fitted out. The encampment at Malang, Dutch East Indies was against used for recreation of these crews.
